Hands down my favourite skincare range from The Body Shop!
These are the 3 staple products from the range I swear by
and they've really done such wonders to my skin.

I've recently got my skin to a very healthy state
and that opened the door to a ton of questions about my skincare routine.
Some of the products I use are affordable and some are pricey.
I do find The Body Shop to be a tad bit pricey
however I can always count on the amazing quality in the products.

This range is infused with a potent blend of 3 plant stem cells,
which aims to repair the skin and keep it healthy.
I instantly saw a difference when it came to fine lines, acne scars and pigmentation
slowly start to lighten and disappear.

Side Note: The scent is AMAZING!

THE RANGE CONSISTS OF:

Now these are the products that I chose to pick up first,
how they work for me
and all the extra information.

 - DROPS OF YOUTH YOUTH CREAM -

I was on a look for a new moisturiser and this one caught my eye. The minute I started using it I instantly fell in love with how it made my skin feel.

Now I know it can be pricey but you only need the smallest bit of the cream for your face to feel super soft, plump and fresh.

Even though the cream is super moisturising it doesn't feel oily which is exactly what I needed because I have combination skin, so I have to be careful to not let my skin get too oily.

Personally, I like to use this during the day to have my face feel fresh during the day. I do skip using it on my oily days just because when I get oily I like to use a mattifying moisturiser (usually a gel cream because they're water based).

Usually retails for P220/R220 and you get around 50ml in the bottle. Check them out on the official website SOUTH AFRICA. For some odd reason I was unable to find the cream on the England website, but I am sure it can be found in store.

- DROPS OF YOUTH EXFOLIATE -

the body shop, skincare, drops of youth, review, cruelty free, stem cell products, beauty, beauty blog, skincare blog, skincare review, hijabi, no makeup, no makeup selfie, get unready with me, night time routine, skincare routine,

This is also known as a 'liquid peel'. I was quite intrigued when I saw The Body Shop posting this on their social media and I absolutely love using it. I actually purchased it along side the Drops Of Light Liquid Peel (if you would like a Drops Of Light Range Review let me know) and I prefer the Drops Of Youth one rather than the Drops Of Light.

I love using this in the morning after I wake up as I am about to wash my face (because you have to use it on dry skin) but I especially like to use it after removing my makeup after a long day. I feel it steps up my cleansing and really removes all the dirt and excess makeup of my skin which is exactly what you skin needs before bed.

After using it I felt my skin was cleaner, felt more fresh, hydrated and most importantly it did not feel stiff and hard. Sometimes your skin feeling firm is perfect, but no one likes your face to feel hard after using soap and this does not feel like that at all. Which if I was to compare it to The Drops Of Light it made my skin feel very stiff and not in the good way.

Now that I think about it, if you have combination skin or dry skin the Drops Of Youth Liquid Peel is perfect for that skin type, however if you have oily skin and you need something that will also mattify your skin as well as cleanse your skin than the Drops Of Light Liquid Peel is your go to.

Usually retails for P240/R240/£18 and you get around 150ml in the bottle. Check them out on the official websites.

- DROPS OF YOUTH CONCENTRATE -

the body shop, skincare, drops of youth, review, cruelty free, stem cell products, beauty, beauty blog, skincare blog, skincare review, hijabi, no makeup, no makeup selfie, get unready with me, night time routine, skincare routine,

Out of the entire range this product was the one I was super excited to pick up and it was ALWAYS sold out which is why it took forever to get. Even though I only have this for 2 months again little goes a long way and it's a staple in my night time routine because it's an deep moisturiser.

I love using it at night like I mentioned, I find a concentrate to be more intense so I prefer that on my skin at night when I have nothing else on and it can work it's magic. I do feel it has really helped the texture of my skin because it's so much more smoother and feels healthier which I love.

Now if you have oily skin you may not like this concentrate, I'd actually suggest the Drops Of Light Serum, I find it does brighten the skin yet also mattifies it which is perfect. I switch it up between the 2 depending on what mood my skin is in and it works perfectly.

Usually retails for P310/R310/£26 and you get around 30ml in the bottle. Check them out on the official websites.

Do remember The Body Shop and (clicks in Africa) always have a mix and match/ 3 for 2 sale which is an amazing deal especially with how pricey skincare can be, also always use your loyalty card as well to cash in some points. Those points slowly add up and go a very long way which is a lovely surprise to have for the next time you visit The Body Shop.

Skincare is something I am very passionate about,
it's also something I love to splurge on.
This range really has done wonders to my skin
and I do hope to pick up more of the products.
Like I said The Body Shop has so many ranges,
regardless of your skin type and your skin issues
you are bound to find a range that will work perfectly for you.

I also uploaded a quick get unready video using these products
so you can see them in action.

I do have more skincare reviews coming soon.

  4. I’ve heard a lot about these but never got a chance to use them. I generally do not use too many beauty products. Just a handful! Will try it at the Body Shop near my house to see if they’re any good for me.

  8. They look lovely - I don't purchase skincare from there - but I do struggle with pigmentation on certain parts of my face and this sounds like it could work for that.
